The role is paying a salary of £28,000 - £30,000 with an excellent benefits package. The Role The role of Accounts Payable Manager will report into the Finance Manager; as well as working closely with the Financial Accountant. The successful individual will manage a small team of accounts payable assistants (2); as well as being involved in the month end closing of the ledger and KPI reporting. On Offer The role of Accounts Payable Manager will offer a salary of £28,000 - £30,000 per annum with an excellent benefits package including FLEXIBLE WORKING and 36 days holiday allowance. The role is based in Edinburgh and is easily accessible via public transport. You will be involved in but not limited to the following duties: Managing a small team of AP Assistants - planning and organising team workload Completion of Bank and GL Reconciliations Posting of journals Production of KPI reporting for AP Assisting with bank and balance sheet reconciliation reporting Managing and monitoring AP payment performance Approval of BACs and cheque payment runs Allocating expenditure through journals, financial adjustments and invoice payment processing To be considered for the role you must: Have a minimum of 3 years' experience of working within a similar finance role Have or be working towards an accountancy qualification - AAT, ACCA, CIMA etc. Have experience of managing a team Have experience of operating ERP or equivalent software packages Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders If you are interested in finding out more about this role, please see get in touch with Jack Ramage for a private and confidential discussion.
