Overview
Are you a domiciliary carer looking for a new challenge? My client is looking for female experienced care workers who can get around the borough of South End to provide a care service for client in the comfort of their own homes. You will need a Full UK driving licence and have your own vehicle as you may be required to visit various different locations in the borough. The pay is from £9.36 per hour. You will be visiting people in their own homes to assist with household tasks such as: -Preparing meals - Full range of personal care from assisting with washing and dressing in the morning to aiding with toileting -Helping with medication -Assisting with cooking and cleaning -Light domestic duties The work will be on an long term ad-hoc basis on weekdays as well as weekends and evenings. Shifts patterns are 7am-11am / 2pm and evening shifts start from 17.30pm - 22.30pm. To be a domiciliary care worker you need to have a genuine interest in helping people to maintain their quality of life and independence regardless of the potential barriers they face. You must be patient, kind and sympathetic to the difficulties that an individual faces.
