In this role you will: Teach, mentor and coach your apprentices through their 18 month journey on the apprenticeship, turning them into the next generation of developers Work closely with Flatiron school, drawing on their expertise in accelerated delivery to deliver a mixture of face to face and online sessions with a cohort of apprentices Take full responsibility for the progress that your cohort of young people make through their apprenticeship, getting to know their roles in detail and working with their line managers Utilise Flatiron content as well as developing your own to ensure you are delivering a highly effective training programme Requirements: You are completely passionate about teaching and love the detail of developing an effective learning experience You are a player-coach: you can provide guidance, support and encouragement harnessing your experience to support people to kick start their career in software development You are technical: you have in depth knowledge and commercial experience of Python, Ruby or Javascript You believe in the principles of applied learning: it’s all about developing the knowledge, skills and behaviours in a way that can be used in a real context, straightaway You are a team player - part of the coach’s responsibility is to work with the team at WhiteHat and clients to ensure apprentices are meeting the expectations of their employer and the qualification You are all about social mobility.
