The Ministry of Justice - Admin Assistant Location: Leeds City Centre Hours: Monday - Friday (37 hours) Pay: £8.21 per hour under 25 £7.70 per hour Are you looking for a new role within the Public Sector? Do you want to work for a known and respected Government Department? The Ministry of Justice are currently recruiting an Admin Assistant to start as soon as possible to support the additional work that the office has taken on within the Social Security and Child Support Tribunals (SSCS) department. Responsibilities include : Managing the internal Inbox Use of local IT system, Outlook and Word Filing duties and use of the heavy-duty photocopier- Producing court/tribunal documents Processing casework such as court orders, claims, fines and fees Preparing papers and files for court, tribunals, hearings and meetings Producing court/tribunal documents What we are looking for: - Not be afraid to ask questions when unsure - Act in a fair and respectful way when dealing with court users and colleagues - Good communication skills - Excellent grammar and spelling - Low sickness record - Great customer service and team building skills - Good Word and Excel is desirable Benefits - Local to the train station and plenty of amenities - Great working environment - Dress down Friday - Monthly Mental health and wellbeing session Please note working for the Ministry of Justice will require you to have photographic ID.
