As a growing insurer across the UK market, my client is looking to expand one of their specialist teams with an Underwriter/Analyst. This really is a unique and incredibly exciting opportunity not to be missed Prior insurance experience is not a prerequisite as this role will enable you to very quickly develop and expand your technical capability. As well as gaining underwriting experience from day one you will be supported via internal and external training. To be considered for this exciting and challenging role, candidates must want to work in an environment where open and direct communication is key and learning capacity will be challenged continuously. With a strong academic background from Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or similar quantitative disciplines, this role will 100% suit a graduate calibre (or equivalent) candidate looking to enter a career in Insurance. You will preferably have a Master's degree, but candidates with Bachelor degrees will be equally considered if you are the right candidate. You will be presented with a broad range of challenging and exciting tasks across property, casualty and fleet motor insurance. This will combine analysing data, presenting key findings and conclusions and participating in a number of key operational projects across the business in the UK and overseas. An excellent opportunity for a candidate with a high level of attention to detail, who thrives on a challenge and exhibits strong IT knowledge (in particular Microsoft Excel and other tools for data analysis).
