Overview
Pivotal role within the business increase effectiveness around budgeting, Position is targeted to help support the organisational growth inquisitive Financial Controller who has a strong grasp of FP&A Otto James Consulting has been selected as the exclusive recruitment partner for an international software organisation relocating to Cheshire. Our partner is in need of a divisional Financial Controller to help roll out their 2020/2021 plans for growth and expansion. With the relocation last year, and the subsequent changes within the organisation, our partner has taken the opportunity to transition a finance function from a back office controlling function to a forward looking business partnering necessity that can contribute to senior decision making and the strategic direction of the business. As part of this evolution, our partner is looking to appoint a rising star with strong commercial finance and people management skills. Key Responsibilities Provide financial leadership and business support to accelerate revenue and profit growth through initiatives such as expansion, Revenue growth management and Strategic Customers Finance lead for regulatory and sustainability projects. Provide strategic financial and markets insight to M&A - apply an external focus to the business. Profit pools, long term opportunities, market and category trends, competitor landscape and analysis. Continuously drive a trusting, constructive and productive relationship with our internal and external partners Develop our talent. Manage, motivate and develop a team of 4 Lead long term revenue and growth analysis. Provide strategic financial analysis to support Mergers and Acquisitions, Industry Insights strategic analysis, Investor Relations analyst reports or other financial ad-hoc analysis. Your Profile Qualified ACA / CIMA / ACCA Possess the drive and ambition to be a leader in a high growth, high tech entrepreneurial business. Strategic business planning and Commercial finance with the skillset to manage statutory and management reporting. To be a success in the role, first class people management skills and the ability to build, develop and inspire team cohesion and effectiveness will be required, as will excellent stakeholder management skills and the communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across the business.
