MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (FOOD MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY) PRESTON £28,000 Healthcare Benefits Package MONDAY-FRIDAY DAYS (8AM-5PM) Due to significant expansion and growth into the UK Market, my client, a Market leading food manufacturing company is seeking to grow its Engineering team with the addition of a Mechanical maintenance engineer. Manufacturing various food products from their site in Preston they supply into all the major supermarkets. With progressive training and development these roles also allow significant opportunities for promotion in the short - medium term. Role Description Assisting with both Reactive & Planned Maintenance Working on a Variety of machinery such as: Boilers, gearboxes, pumps, seals, pipes, bearings Welding & Fabrication experience is preferable Reporting of all activities including breakdown repair Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager Skills and Qualifications Apprentice trained/ Time served engineer ANY Industrial manufacturing background Ability to work well within a team environment Mechanical biased Company Information As a business our client is a market leader in food production and distribution across the World.
