Staff Nurse - Mental Health and Brain Injury Rehabilitation Location: Northampton Salary: £29,250 - £36,699 per annum ( £15.00 - £18.82 p/h ) Hours: Full Time and Part Time hours are available - you can choose depending on your preference (options of: 11.5 hours, 23 hours, 34.5 hours or 37.5 hours). The hospital can also consider fixed shifts. Shifts: Options of Days only (0730 - 2000) or Nights only ( 1930 - 0800 ) or Mixed shifts on a rotational basis - you can choose depending on your preference Contract: Permanent Further Details: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified or experienced RMN, RNMH, or RNLD ( Registered Mental Health Nurse, Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse ) to work within a Mental Health Hospital in Northampton We are a low secure 16 bed male only Mental Health Rehabilitation Service. The hospital is a welcoming facility dedicated to the treatment and care of those with severe mental illness, as well as rehabilitation for those with brain injury. The bright and spacious en-suite bedrooms provide each patient with their own personal space. There is a dedicated activities room for creative pursuits as well as leisure facilities; together with the large communal dining and living areas there are plenty of opportunities for socialising. The hospital's small size means it retains a tangible sense of home, for our residents. Our close proximity to education institutions and local amenities and other organisations allows service users to access education, social and volunteering positions in the local community when they are ready. Service Details: The Service has a good CQC rating across all key lines of enquiry. They have a very positive and supportive work environment with a brilliant long-standing team. The have a very low staff turnover. They are very big on staff development and training. They have an extremely high staff to patient ratio. They have amazing training and development opportunities along with clear progression pathways and preceptorships available for newly qualified Nurses Shifts : The Hospital can accommodate part-time or full-time hours and they can be flexible with shifts. They are happy to consider fixed shift patterns and they are happy to consider nurses who prefer working days only or nights only. Their shift pattern is 0800 am- 8.00pm (days) and 0800pm - 8.00am (nights).
