Overview
Sanctions AVP - Banking A global leading financial group with a proven track record in attracting and nurturing the most talented individuals in the market, is seeking to grow its Financial Crime division at the AVP level. This is in order to oversee all Financial Crime issues across the EMEA area. Driven by a desire to build a meritocratic, honest and open environment, the financial group creates opportunities for growth and development whilst giving individuals genuine responsibility and exposure to a variety of clients and products. Your new role You will play a pivotal role as an expert on all areas of Financial Crime, especially AML and Sanctions. As an AML/Sanctions AVP, you will be given responsibility over the deployment of new policies and standards. Other responsibilities include: Helping to deliver change and related action plans region-wide Reporting to project teams within the agreed timelines Identify and propose improvements to current Financial Crime procedures What you'll need to succeed A robust understanding of Financial Crime related policies and legislation An expertise encompassing AML and Sanctions related policies and procedures Good understanding of risk, compliance and controls An ability to build and maintain key stakeholder relationships Previous experience at an AVP level or similar preferred What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
