Contract Job / Permanent Job - Product Data Management Technician - Clevedon GCS currently have a contract or permanent position looking for a Product data management technician as detailed below; Job Title: Product data management technician Location: Clevedon Rate: £16 per hour or £33k per annum GCS are looking to recruit product data management technician for a busy Engineering company in Clevedon. Description We are looking for a SAP experienced person who will learn our current processes and assist with migrating these processes from MAPICS to SAP. SAP migration for the Clevedon site is due to start in the coming weeks with an aim to complete by Q3 2020. Having SAP knowledge within this team will be a valuable contribution to remainder of the team. Role Convert Engineering Bills of Materials (EBOM's) into Manufacturable Bills of Materials (MBOM's) Implement Engineering Changes both to EBOM's and MBOM's SQL/Access data base link tables - Data extraction and handling Excel data handling/analysis Team process improvements Experience Essential: SAP Understanding and Experience (Any level of understanding considered) Experience of working in a production / manufacturing environment Good/Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge (Some experience with other MS Office programs) Non-essential (2 or more of these): SQL or MS Access link tables VBA Programming Data analysis Production/Manufacturing Engineering Hands on Engineering (Build or Maintenance) Responsibilities Maintain a good relationship with the customer including delivering customer commitments in a timely manner. Plan your own work in order to meet the deadlines. Handle daily activities in an autonomous way. Have the necessary professional knowledge. Recognise the other stakeholders' interests and opinions.
