Overview
Residential Children's Support Worker Swansea BS Social Care are looking to recruit a pool of staff available to work full or part time in a residential school in the Swansea area working with children who have emotional and behavioural issues. You will be required to support the children in their educational studies and/or activities after school as well. The ideal candidate will need to be confident, patient and caring to support these young people in their day to day life The shift patterns are flexible with the options of working mornings, evenings, long days, nights and weekends as well. You will need experience of working with children who might display challenging behaviours and ideally a form of de -escalation and restraint.
