Overview
Avanti Recruitment is currently working with an award winning, Y Combinator backed hotel start up to recruit a talented NodeJS Developer. You’ll join a rapidly growing team of developers who are looking to revolutionize the way in which hotel bookings are managed and solve real world problems. You will play a unique role blending leadership, architecture and hands on development into one. You’ll be the voice of wisdom in technical discussions, pulling from your past experience and guiding the team as they work towards achieving their common goal. You’ll put in place an agile development workflow to provide the structure needed to maintain the release of high quality of deliverables, whilst also being sufficiently flexible to allow for ownership, productivity and speed of development. Skills Experience working with Node.js on the backend Experience architecting complex systems at scale. Following the micro-services design pattern is particularly desirable Very good understanding of data technologies and standard relational database structures along with query languages (SQL)Prior systems architecture experience Experience leading a team of developers, implementing agile development methodologies/workflows and shipping features Experience building & composing infrastructure on top of cloud services Desirable PostgreSQL Unix/bash RabbitMQ With a competitive salary up to 100k, offices located in central London and equity options in a well-funded, rapidly growing, Y Combinator backed start-up.
