Overview
Job Title:Air & Ocean Import/Export Operator Location: London Heathrow You will be responsible for specific accounts, ensuring their requirements are fulfilled and developing solid working relationships with the clients you are working with. Ideally our Client would prefer candidates with a working background within the Freight/Logistics sector with a good commercial awareness and the ability to work to deadlines and work well under pressure Key Duties: Handling enquiries and taking bookings Arranging for the shipment of goods via air and ocean both Imports and Exports Calculating best routes and suppliers Regular Liaison with clients Logging all shipments Handling all relevant customs and insurance documentation Maximising business potential with key clients Good knowledge of software packages such as ASM and GEMS
