Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Residential support Workers to join a Trauma Recovery Residential home for Young People, within the Burnley area. You will be working for a well-established organisation which provide specialist therapeutic environments and support to young people who have been subjected to Child Sexual Exploitation or those who present early life chronic trauma or post-traumatic stress. As the Residential Support Worker your duties would include providing therapeutic support to the Young People, following support plans for the young people. Other duties will consist of supporting them out in the community, making accurate daily notes and report writing, observing the trends of behaviour and promoting the independence of the young people. The successful candidate will be passionate in providing the best person-centred care to the young people, a Level 3 in Children and Young People is essential, hold a relevant experience of supporting Young People within a Residential setting and hold a full UK Driving Licence.
