Overview
LGV (Cat C) HGV Class 2 drivers required Medical distribution company based in Worcester seeks hard working, polite and professional LGV drivers to join our busy and growing team. Successful candidates will receive: Competitive rates of pay Full uniform inc PPE Job specific training Overtime available Night out allowances Standard hours of work, Monday to Friday 07:30-17:30 with occasional weekends and nights out. Main Duties and Responsibilities Deliver medical goods to hospitals, home patients Help the warehouse staff with loading the vehicles ready for delivery To undertake the necessary daily checks as per the Drivers/Operator handbook thus ensuring the safe and legal operation of your vehicle at all time To comply with all traffic laws and legislation with relation to your duties including the security and weight of loads Deliver excellent customer service Some heavy lifting is required. Skills & Experience Required Full clean driving licence with Class 2 entitlement Driver CPC Digital tachograph card Good working knowledge of working time directive (WTD) and tachograph regulations. Successful candidates will be required to undergo a check via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) due to the nature of our business.
