Our client a well known company of high quality designer and manufacturer of home furnishing are looking for an experienced Warehouse Administrator to join their small team at Blackrod depot. Job Role: Warehouse Administrator OVERALL OBJECTIVE As an Warehouse Administrator, your role will oversee two vital areas; customer orders & warehouse administration. You will support the customer support team in organising collections and in customer care when required. You will support in the smooth running of the warehouse in all things administration. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Warehouse; To facilitate the smooth running of the warehouse management system and the general administration required To release transfers orders from the system To book and manage inbound vs. stock To carry out stock investigations and correct the relevant system where required To communicate any stock issues to the Warehouse Supervisor/ DC Manager To carry out any ad-hoc tasks as requested by Warehouse Supervisors Create the weekly agency time sheets and top line KPI reports Release and monitor transfers Respond to supplier or Head office queries in a timely manner To work with the warehouse team to aid deployment of process improvements for DY/Returns To carry out general stock administration Accurately complete all paperwork in a timely manner To communicate and liaise with other department or stores when necessary To have flexible working patterns KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Previous customer support experience is desirable Strong organisational skills Experience of delivering business objectives Service Delivery exp/Customer relations Previous administration experience is essential Strong communication skills Well organised and able to prioritise Ability to use own initiative PERSONAL CONTRIBUTION Embodying Company's model team member by: Being motivated and showing initiative; carrying out tasks willingly and without prompting from management Developing product knowledge, knowledge of competitors, product developments and market trends Adhering to Company dress code ensuring a professional image is presented by being well groomed and smart in appearance Maintaining excellent attendance and time keeping standards Communicating relevant information verbally and / or in writing to customers and colleagues as and when required, in a clear, complete and appropriate manner Working as a team with colleagues and management to achieve department and company objectives Excellent attention to detail Ability to manage a multiple workload and work to deadlines Following emergency procedures and adhering to the Company’s Health and Safety regulations Undertaking any other reasonable duties as requested Always looking to exceed customer expectations The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
