Buyer / £42,000 - £48,000 per year / Manufacturing Your new company You will be working for a leading manufacturer and supplier who work in the automotive industry. Your new role As Buyer you will have responsibility for Indirect spend across 3 sites (Liverpool, Midlands and North Lincolnshire) along with partial responsibility for some Direct spend. You will be based primarily in Liverpool with some travel to the further sites. You will be responsible for building relationships with the key stakeholders across all 3 sites and being a hands on 'go-getter' who can pro-actively source suppliers and negotiate contracts. What you'll need to succeed You will be an experience procurement professional with a background in Indirect and services purchasing preferably within an automotive or manufacturing industry but not essential. What is essential is your drive to work pro-actively and build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers along with an ability to negotiate.
