Plant & Formwork Manager - RC frame & groundwork subcontractor Kent Based £40,000 - £60,000 Benefits About the Opportunity: Based between our client’s plant yard near Rochester and their office near Dartford you will be tasked with the complete control of their plant & formwork to cover their sites in and around London. The successful applicant will report to the directors of the business and will be responsible for overseeing the transport, maintenance, procurement and management of all the plant and formwork with in the business (from small tools to large excavators). As this is an expanding business, your role will only grow so future opportunity is available for those with aspirations to develop. About the Company: The organisation currently turns over around £45 million per annum. Like many other businesses in this sector, this organisation is formed from two leading directors from previous businesses that joined forces to create something new. The business has a specialist housebuilding groundworks division but the bulk of their work is and always will be focused around the residential RC frame and groundwork sector. With strong ties to clients such as Bellway, Redrow and Countryside, this business is growing year on year and is looking to recruit now to help develop the team in line with this. It is this growth that will bring opportunity, as those who have aspirations to develop their own careers and possibly manage others, will be given the opportunity as the company climbs. About the Requirements: To be considered all applicants must have worked in a Plant Management position before. Ideal applicants will have worked in this role for a rival concrete frame or groundwork subcontractor in the UK, but we will also consider individuals with good experience in this position from other types of construction businesses in the UK. Outside of this the requirements relate to what any growing business would want; People who are committed to a long-term role and have held stability in their previous roles. People who are keen to work as part of a team towards building a strong and reputable company. And individuals who can demonstrate the ability to self-manage while also overseeing others. About the Benefits: As a starting salary I am looking to consider anyone earning anything from £40,000 to £60,000 per annum. This is a rough salary bracket so please still get in touch if your aspirations are slightly outside this. In addition to basic wage, things like car allowance or company vehicle, pension and similar will be on offer.
