7.5 Tonne Driver

Recruiting for our client based in Basingstoke. We are looking for additional drivers due to client growth. Temp to perm job. 3 months temp then will become permanent. Training will be given, so the most important thing is a good attitude towards work and ability to be a team player. You will need to be CPC and have a digi tacho card. Company induction on 15th July with immediate starts available. Full time hours 7.5 tonne drivers: start time 0630hrs until various finish time (due to the nature of the work the finish time will vary day to day. The average shift is 9-10 hours per day).You must be reliable and punctual Our client operate 7 days a week. Drivers working rota is 5 days on 3 days off rota. Once permanent the starting salary will be £29,600 per annum plus overtime and bonus. The job will be delivering goods to customer's homes, loading and unloading goods in vans / 7.5 tonne vehicles. There will be between 15-30 drops per day. Many of the items will be white goods, so heavy lifting is part of the job, there for you must have the ability to lift large heavy items. You will always have the assistance of a drivers mate. This is a customer facing role so we are looking for people that are honest, polite and have a professional/helpful attitude.
