Overview
We are looking for a staff nurse for a medium sized nursing home in Brighton. The home caters to the elderly as well as service users with dementia. The nursing home has onsite parking and is also close to public transport links. The Nursing Home is looking for a full time staff nurse to work on either day or night shift. The staff nurse can be general or mental health qualified and the nurse should have at least 6 months post qualification experience. This is the opportunity to join a small private company to value the high standard of care that they deliver within all of their nursing homes. The company has a strong management team meaning you will have a great support network. Responsibilities: Administering medication Produce individual care plans Maintain accurate records Work to NMC and CQC guidelines and regulations Commit to improving the lives of residents Training and development of the staff Communicate effectively with staff, residents and the families of the residents The successful nurse must be: RGN (or equivalent) Able to work in the UK Have a valid NMC pin Salary is dependent on experience.
