Overview
Outsource UK are currently working with a large banking group located in Solihull, who are looking for a Completions Officer to join them on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for someone who has extensive Customer Service experience and knowledge of the Mortgage Lifecycle. Brief description The Mortgage Completions team are looking for an individual with excellent customer service experience who ideally understands the mortgage life cycle and completion process but if not is keen to build their knowledge in this area. If you can demonstrate knowledge of the mortgage industry and customer service skills, this could be the role for you. Purpose of the role To process all new lending mortgage applications from offer of loan through to the release of funds. Maintaining service levels and quality, whilst achieving conversion rates. Duties and responsibilities Action all post offer incoming post, emails and faxes Refer to and liaise with underwriters, surveyors and legal department as and when appropriate Action Report on Title in line with checklist Carry out high court petition searches Release of completion funds Handle all incoming completion enquiries Communicate with and update solicitors on progress of the mortgage offer Handle the post completion retention funds process About The Candidate Skills Working knowledge of the mortgage industry An understanding of the mortgage lifecycle Knowledge of the mortgage completion process Knowledge and understanding of legal issues relating to completion of mortgages Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Qualifications and experience Grade C or above GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
