Overview
I am currently assisting with a growing Accountancy Practice based in Alnwick who is looking for a Tax & Accounts Assistant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Ideally the successful candidate will have completed their AAT Level 4 qualification. Some of your duties will include: Preparation of tax returns Preparation of P11Ds and CT61s Preparation and submission of Statutory Accounts Preparation of sole trader and partnership accounts Completion of client Self-Assessment returns. Bookkeeping for clients Registering clients for VAT/Corporation tax/PAYE VAT returns Offering basic advice for clients Client meetings and first point of contact for the firm for clients Practice experience for this position is essential
