Overview

Would you like to work at one the UK's most recognised retail companies? Do you want to be in a truly state-of-the-art technical environment? Do you want an endless supply of data to play around with? No guarantee's but I am 99.99% sure that I am partnered with a company you've been a customer of. You'll spend your days building out a complex, data intensive server-side platform used to make key decisions by one of the largest companies in the UK. Not only will you code, but you'll also be involved in discussion around system architecture, tech roadmapping, R & D and team direction. This is a tech-driven team with a collaborative approach to working. You'll work alongside your colleagues in a super modern office space in the heart of London. You can wear whatever you want and, within reason, work the hours you choose. You'll need to be an experienced Java engineer with strong understanding of core Java and server side technologies. Ideally, you'll also have knowledge of cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS. On top of this, you'll be able to get your hands on Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD and JavaScript (React) to name just a few.
