1. Information assurance & Cyber Security project lead Role We require an information assurance / cyber security project lead for an exciting new project to support our customer, Highways England. We are looking for individuals who work confidently to make excellent security happen quietly with high assurance and no fuss. Simple, effective security. The role will support our high-calibre engineering team to produce a robust and efficiently managed solution. The role requires a high degree of customer liaison and will serve to support an ongoing a flexible operating environment, which we expect will develop further cyber requirements we will help our customers manage. The role will primarily be responsible to a project manager. In additional to this specific lead role, the ideal candidate will be able to support the wider Leidos security capability, as the incumbent will be joining a talented and multi-faceted cyber team with a reach across our UK business delivering on commitments and seeking out great opportunities. Essential British - Non-dual national - many of our projects have nationality restrictions SC cleared - Candidates should be willing to undergo DV clearance. Process Skills/Experience Experience of the IT systems engineering lifecycle (from requirements analysis through to acceptance and early life support, and disposal.) Understanding of the controlling processes for the systems engineering lifecycle (e.g. requirements management, configuration management, testing and assurance) Understanding of different lifecycles/methodologies (waterfall, incremental, agile, DevOps) Experience in delivering accredited security solutions Experience working in both delivery and proposal environments Technology skills/Experience Experience of gaining and maintaining accreditation for secure/sensitive systems Excellent understanding of Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability (CIA) and practical experience in applying that, in this project the emphasis is on availability. Experience in defining and tracing through security requirements for a system Experience in producing security documentation sets (SyOPS, RMADs, Security Management Plans, ISMS elements) Understanding of network and boundary protection technologies (firewalls, mail gateways, load balancers, anti virus, IPS, IDS Understanding of Protective Monitoring systems, their operational application as well as design, implementation and configuration. Understanding of authentication and authorisation technologies (SAML, LDAP, PKI, etc) The ideal candidate will hold CISSP certification Communication and Soft Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills and works well in a team environment; Capable of developing and communicating a vision to meet the System Requirements; A good level of commercial awareness Networkers acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers and is part of Gattaca Plc.
