Homecare Therapy Nurse (Dialysis) Ipswich/ Colchester £23,500 - £28,000 FT Mon - Fri Our client is one of the world's largest independent renal care providers who are devoting their efforts to developing the best renal care services in the field of dialysis. We have a fantastic opportunity for a nurse to join their small team specialising in home haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis covering Colchester and Ipswich. The purpose of the role is to provide safe high quality nursing care to patients undergoing home treatments, to train and support patients and to develop and promote good working relationships KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Training patient in all aspects of dialysis care General assessment of patient suitability for home treatment. Observations of patient in home environment Act as a named nurse for allocated caseload of patients ensuring all care is planned and documented Review dialysis orders and initiate any changes requested by the referral Renal Team Documents observations and interventions in a legible manner Train patients on how to maintain a clean clinical environment Discuss health concerns with patient; review any concerns with the multi-disciplinary team as necessary Prepare and monitor dialysis machines and systems ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: NMC Registered General Nurse (LIVE ACTIVE PIN WITH NURSING & MIDWIFERY COUNCIL) Be able to work autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team 12 months nursing experience (Haemodialysis would be an advantage but not essential) Flexible to be able to work independently as a Nurse travelling will be required Colchester/ Ipswish and surrounding area for the home visits This is a full time position Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm salary up to £26,500 many lucrative benefits working for this private provider FULL THOROUGH TRAINING PROVIDED FOR THIS ROLE Please submit your CV to Caroline at Eclypse Recruitment This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89755874
