Deputy Service Manager - Learning Disabilities Walton-on-Thames Salary: £22,725 Adept Recruitment is one of the UK's leading providers of permanent recruitment solutions to the Health and Social Care sectors and we offer bespoke consultancy services to clients and candidates alike. The Company Our client provides Supported Living, Residential, Outreach and Community Services to individuals with multiple or complex needs such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI and/or challenging behaviours across the UK. The Role The service is a large 10 bed property which supports people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, epilepsy, mobility needs and behaviours that challenge. The role will be to support the service manager, who oversees 2 services, by updating care plans, risk assessments, monitor daily logs, administering medication, organising rota’s but also support the service users day to day (personal care, attending appointments, activities etc.). Skills and Experience Essential: Experience providing support to people with learning disabilities and varying support needs, experience managing small to medium staff teams in a social care environment, able to manage own time and work under pressure, good communication skills and flexible to cover the rota when needed across 7 days. Desirable: Hold a full valid driving licence and access to own car and experience working in larger services. Salary and Benefits Salary is £22,725 per annum with benefits including 31 days annual leave including Bank Holidays and company pension scheme.
