We have opportunities available for Full-time and Part-time Care Assistants, with flexible hours including Evenings and Weekends. Care Assistant Role The role of a Care Assistant is to provide care, support and companionship to elderly individuals so that they may continue to live independently in their own homes within the community of Rutland. On top of a rewarding career we offer: Excellent hourly rates of pay Performance related bonus scheme 28 days holiday per annum (pro rata for Part-time) Mileage contribution based on hours worked Due to the nature of the role, a Full UK Driving Licence with access to your own vehicle is essential. Care Assistant Skills/Experience You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as an integral part of the Care Assistant role is communicating with service users, family members etc. You will also need to possess good English reading and writing skills as you will be required to complete administration such as understanding care plans, completing report books, medication sheets and other documents. Previous experience, although advantageous, is not necessary as you will receive excellent training and ongoing support.
