Overview
About the role Our client is a young female adult who sustained a severe brain injury a few years ago. She is dependent on her team for all her activities of daily living. Our client continues to do well in her SALT sessions in relation to both her communication and her eating. She appears to be vocalising more to indicate that she wants something. She responds well to all her therapy programmes which include physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, hydrotherapy, neuropsychology and massage therapy. Our client is fed via a PEG and enjoys taster sessions. Our current team are motivated by the advances she is making. Our client responds well to bright and bubbly personalities who enjoy having fun. She has a strong, loving, family network and she enjoys various outings with family and care team such as trips to the theatre, wheelchair ice skating, shopping, hydrotherapy and weekends away. Car drivers are preferable due to location. Shifts currently available; long days, Waking & Sleeping nights . As a Care Assistant duties will vary dependent on each client’s individual care plan.
