CONTROLS & INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER ALFRETON DAYS £40,000 BENEFITS Company Profile: I am looking for a motivated Controls & Instrumentation Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company within heavy industry. This role will suit someone who is looking to utilise their skills to help keep a start of the art production facility maintained to a high standard. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you will be involved in all aspects of controls and instrumentation within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. Role & Responsibilities: To provide the control systems and instrumentation support for the plant and MEMU fleet activities. PLC code development and fault finding, PLC architecture and hardware, instrumentation development and configuration. HMI development and configuration Testing and commissioning of new plant machinery Interrogation of new technology, design improvements and specifications Detailed specifications and drawings of all electrical power, control and instrumentation circuitry Required Skills & Experience: Engineering skills within Controls/PLC's/Automation/HMI's HNC/HND - Electrical Engineering Strong Controls & Instrumentation background PLC Programming, HMI Design and Application Manufacturing Background In return for your commitment my client offers a stable and secure career for a technically motivated engineer.
