Overview
The Company: As a result of continued growth I am currently working on behalf of a highly successful, nationally renowned IFA firm based in Central Leeds who are looking to add a QCF level 4 Diploma qualified Paraplanner to their technical support team. With strong transport links via the train and bus routes you will be joining an expanding firm who model themselves on providing professional, independent, whole of market financial advice with high quality service and support to all clientele. The Role: The role itself is a technical paraplanning role providing analysis, detailed research of funds and providers, report writing and product recommendations for both personal and group/corporate clients across the group. Assess new business based on fact find and adviser information. Liaise with advisers to obtain accurate information to complete cases. Produce research material and write a comprehensive suitability letter. Present case to adviser. Provide feedback to individual advisers. Maintain and update the paraplanning recording system. Assess and finalise paraplanning cases in line with regulatory business standards. The majority of workload is investments and pensions focused with some IHT/Tax planning and pension switch work on top - So would suit someone who is driven by the technical aspect of paraplanning and compiling succinct, accurate reports for the advisers being supported. The Person: You will already be QCF Diploma level 4 qualified and be looking to progress further, in addition to having previous experience of working within paraplanning in an IFA environment. This is very much a technical report writing role so technical knowledge across the breadth of private wealth, and hands-on paraplanning experience supporting advisers in this field is a must.
