Trainee Financial Adviser

Our client is a lovely company based in Kenilworth. They have an immediate need for someone to join their team and train as a Financial Adviser / Paraplanner. The successful candidate will undertake a structured training program of academic study and vocational practice to gain the skills and knowledge they require. This will involve starting the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. For the right candidate, the role may lead to the opportunity to develop as a specialist Financial Advisor. The hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm Principle Responsibilities: Develop an understanding of pensions, investments, protection & corporate schemes Gain a full understanding of the Financial Services regulatory framework Conduct research and analysis to support client financial plans Gather information to assess client needs and formulate recommendations Obtain information, quotes, illustrations to support comparison and analysis Attend client meetings and promote the company’s services Deal effectively with enquiries from clients Attend and complete all relevant training Skills and Experience required: At least 6 months financial services / sales experience is essential Excellent administration and organisational skills Strong communication skills both verbal and written A quick learner and team player - Positive Enthusiastic and conscientious - excellent time management skills Good IT skills (MS Outlook and Word and a basic knowledge of Excel) The trainee financial adviser / paraplanner role would suit someone who has some experience in a financial services environment but who now wants to develop a career.
