Overview
Darwin Court Healthy Living Centre in Southwark, owned by Peabody, is looking for a self-motivated lifeguard to work in our busy environment. The individual should enjoy interacting with a variety of customers and have a strong sense of responsibility. You should have excellent customer care skills. A desire to learn new things and working as a team are essential qualities. You will be required to perform lifeguarding duties on poolside and maintain the safety of the pool. Peabody offers generous holiday time (30 days paid per year), excellent pension scheme, career advancement and training in different areas. The hours are Monday-Saturday, morning and afternoon depending on the day. The centre is open from 8am to 8pm, with early shifts being 8am to 3pm, and late shifts being 12pm to 8pm. Ideally, you should have NPLQ but for the right candidate Peabody can provide the necessary training. The initially contract is for one year but there is a very high chance of extension if the candidate is satisfactory. Please note the successful candidate will need to be subject to an enhanced background check by the Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) before any appointment can be confirmed.
