Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a White Collar Crime Paralegal to join a US firm’s leading White Collar Crime practice. The successful White Collar Crime Paralegal can look forward to working closely with a team of fee earners, around half of whom are also trained Barristers. You will mostly be working on a very complex White Collar Crime case, assisting with everything from complex document review through to meatier research and drafting work. The predominant requirements for this role are stellar academics and hands-on document review experience (i.e. 2nd level review, QC checking). The role is not limited to document review, it is just the foundation skill set the firm require for this opportunity. This Paralegal position has lots of autonomy and the opportunity to take on trainee level tasks. The White Collar Crime team in this firm is top ranked in the legal directories; they are well known for working successfully on a range of cross-border criminal matters, sanctions compliance issues and allegations of market manipulation. The team are also great to work with because they are really collaborative and down to earth. This White Collar Crime Paralegal position is a rolling contract but the firm are also keen to point out that two paralegals in the team have recently been made permanent and others have been offered TCs so there is certainly scope for longer term career development.
