Overview

Rthirteen are currently working in collaboration with a long-standing, agricultural service and product supplier, in their recruit for an Agricultural Technician to join their team in Ellington. The focus of this role will be performing diagnostics, service repairs and various maintenance work on customer or deal owned equipment. This role will suit someone with previous experience in maintenance repairs in either the agriculture, groundscare or construction fields. You will be joining a fantastic organisation with a strong reputation where their employees are at the heart of everything they do. This role will allow you to participate in certification programs in order for you to develop your skills and knowledge. Your duties will include: Performing diagnostics and repairs on Agricultural, Groundscare or Construction equipment, this will include AMS products. Fault-finding and Diagnostics and with the ability to talk through problems and advise solutions. Completing any necessary paperwork in a timely manner, this could include; various reports, DTAC cases, time sheets etc Ensuring all safety rules and regulations are followed at all times. Maintaining a clean and organised work station and overall organised work shop. Active participation in Service Training Certification programs required for development of skills and knowledge. Providing advice, guidance and mentoring to apprentices. You will have/be: Proven experience carrying out service repairs in the agriculture, groundscare or construction areas. Previous experience working with John Deere equipment. A minimum of LTA certification level. A logical approach to performing repairs with specialist tools, all whilst following approved technical procedures. Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electric and hydraulic systems in the context of repairing those. The ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes. Computer literate, with the ability to pick up skills on new company specific software. The ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills Flexible approach to work as some longer hours/weekend work may be needed at times. Fork lift and vehicle driving license are preferred. This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday. The offered salary for this position is £22,000 - £26,000 dependant on experience.
