Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a care provider who is seeking a Registered Home Manager for a nursing home in Peterlee. The service provides care and support for older people with learning disabilities. Salary £35,000-50,000 As this is a nursing home the salary goes up to £50,000, however they would accept a non nurse Manager (somewhere at the lower end of the pay scale). This organisation are looking for an experienced Registered Manager with a firm but fair management style, who is able to manage a large, well-established home and has strong knowledge of CQC. You should be able to demonstrate sound leadership and management skills and be able to effectively manage this service to get the best outcomes for service users. Key skills and Competencies: • You will be committed to reporting on Service User outcomes and organizational KPI reporting. • In this role you will be required to be highly flexible and will provide management support to staff and person-centred approaches to the people who use our service. • Excellent ability at conducting Referrals and Assessments • Strong care background and leadership skills • Excellent communication skills • Commercially strong with good business development knowledge and experience • Managing and controlling resources to meet demands and changing priorities, ensuring financial viability • Knowledge : stay up to date with legislative changes that can affect the operation of the business / service - CQC compliance • Making sure service users get the most out of the service If you are interested in this vacancy please send your CV to jade.colemandomusrecruitment.com and I will give you a call.
