Overview

Work closely with partner agencies to identify children at risk of child sexual exploitation (CSE) and respond at the earliest opportunity. •To contribute to the education and knowledge of others regarding CSE •A flexible approach to intervention, which will include planned intervention and outreach work. •Liaise with local communities, build networks with local agencies and partners •Assist in the development of an early response and preventative approach to young people who go missing from home •To work with children/young people and their families to identify needs to achieve positive engagement and outcomes. •Work in partnership with parents/carers to empower them to provide appropriate parenting and care •To contribute to service development and improvement •To work within DCC and LSCB Safeguarding child protection procedures •Providing advice, information and, if required, advocacy. •To devise and undertake flexible and imaginative approaches to offer support, which will achieve the philosophy/objectives of the Team. . . 8.2To maintain accurate records concerning the children/young person and their parents/carers, and to prepare and present reports to meetings as required. 8.3To participate in service meetings, supervision sessions, and training where identified/ appropriate. 8.4Any other duties as may be assigned to him/her by the ERASE and CST Team Managers or their duly authorised officers, commensurate with the grade of the post. 8.5 To ensure that conditions of work and the environment comply with Health and Safety legislation. 8.6 Any other duties as may be required from time to time by the Director of Children and Adult's Service or their authorised representatives.
