Overview
Innovation Advisor - FTC until September 2022 Your new company Your new company is a large, public sector organisation within Sheffield that works closely with both public and private sector organisations on a day to day basis. Your new role Your new role will see you using your current skill set to to provide information, advice and guidance to growing businesses. You will ideally have an innovation focus, and work within their Growth team to aid the development of projects. Your role is focused on innovation, and you will be responsible for supporting, signposting and guiding businesses through their journey, identifying new business leads and facilitating new relationships between regional businesses and partners within set projects. What you'll need to succeed You will be self motivated, and have ideally have experience working commercially on projects, using innovation and business acumen. You will understand how business decisions are made and barriers which may effect potential growth. You will be confident liaising with both internal and external stakeholders and have the ability to negotiate. Ideally you will have experience of managing a team, and experience of delivering action plans and initiating procedures / providing progress reports in order to meet defined objectives and specific deadlines. You must have an understanding of how business support systems are, and can be monitored, as well as resource management issues relating to project planning and delivery.
