Overview

I am recruiting a newly-created position as a Bid Manager (IT Solutions) for one of my SME tech customers in Nottingham city centre. They are a true global market leader, are headquartered in Europe and are currently looking to expand their Nottingham-based team. As a Bid Manager, you will be taking ownership of the end-to-end bid process, working on aspects such as the proposal, negotiation, risk management and strategy & solution development. You're going to be a crucial part of their business, working on putting bids together for their IT solutions as they look to increase their market share. Not only will you be managing bids and presenting to clients, you will have experience working in a commercial environment where you've had experience negotiating/dealing directly with clients. I am looking to speak to people who will be comfortable negotiating directly with clients on sizeable contracts. If you're an experienced IT Bid professional and think this could be for you then please get in touch. You'll be a confident negotiator, comfortable working independently, and at ease within a commercial environment. You'll need to be fluent on Excel and have strong IT knowledge. There will be some travel required with the role (but not extensive). Their office is a welcoming environment and a non-corporate setting. You'll be able to have a real impact on the business - you won't be a small fish in a big pond.
