Data Scientist Worthing, West Sussex £30,000 - £60,000 This is an interesting opportunity for someone with cutting edge analytical techniques and strong programming skills to join a growing business. As a Data Scientist you’ll be working with external clients and developing our model suite. No two projects are the same but you’ll typically; Help to deliver complex projects for our client base using advanced modelling and programming skills Build modelling infrastructure to support web-based projects Carry out research and development on non-standard data items, open source data and automated valuation models. Create data visualisations and provide commentary to communicate your analytical findings. Skills and Experience Essential A BSc or above in a quantitative discipline with an emphasis on statistical analysis skills. Hands on analytical experience with R/Python/SAS or SPSS. Hands on programming experience with SQL or equivalent. Understanding of advanced analytics techniques and experience building deterministic and stochastic models. Desirable Awareness of Agile/Scrum methodologies Experience of cloud computing Experience of data visualisation tools/techniques
