We are looking to recruit support workers on various contracts within our Dundee based services. We need staff who can work on a rota basis to meet the needs of the service and allow us to deliver continuous support daily. All staff work flexibly to allow us to deliver 24 hour support, 365 days of the year. Say hello to the team Tullideph- Dundee 1 This Housing Support Service support eight adults, seven men and one woman, within their own individual tenancies based in Dundee. The service is a dedicated build with five of the people supported living within a secure courtyard space and three individuals a short distance from there. Each individual has their own complex needs including, but not limited to, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, hearing impairment, ADHD, Learning disabilities, Epilepsy, Heller’s syndrome and Aspergers. Individuals are supported in every element of their lives within their own homes and out in the community, with a focus on person-centred care. Erskine St- Dundee 2 This Housing Support Service supports 7 adults, four men and three women within their own tenancies. A large staff team work across the service but have a commitment to core teams. The Erskine Street service is primarily purpose built for people with a learning disability and other complex needs. Two live offsite. A core team are based in the service with a Locality Manager and Supervisor on site. The Registered Manager works across two sites. The needs of the people supported are unique to them but do include Learning Disability, Sensory impairment, Epilepsy, Diabetes and Bi-Polar Disorder. Most of the people supported have Welfare Guardians appointed either through the Health and Social Care Partnerships or families. We work closely with them and ensure that any change to support or event is reported appropriately. Forfar- Dundee 2 This Housing Support Service is a dedicated, purpose-built service for four people who have a dual sensory impairment and additional learning disability. A core team are based in the service with a Locality Manager and Supervisor onsite. Each person has their own tenancy but also have the opportunity to share a communal space for additional social opportunities The needs of the people supported are unique to them but do include Learning Disability, Sensory impairment, Epilepsy, Diabetes. In this service there is regular family and guardian contact alongside partnership working with our colleagues within Angus Health and Social Care Partnership Walton Mill- Dundee 3 This service supports five adults, four men and one woman within their own individual tenancies. The service has a staff team who work across the service but have a commitment to core teams. The service is spread over several localities in Dundee according to where the person supported lives. There is staff accommodation is in the core service in "Walton Mill", where the manager is based. Three of the people we support are blind; all living in their own tenancies. One, has welfare guardianship in place. Two of the people we support have complex learning disability and autism. The service is supported by a Registered Manager and a supervisor on site.
