Quickline Recruitment currently have a fantastic opportunity for Child Care Lawyer to join the childcare team and the successful candidate will be expected to give advice to Social Services under the Children Act 1989, attend court for hearings and manage a caseload . About the Role Essex Legal Services provides high quality, professional, legal advice across the Council and to increasing numbers of external clients; providing a client facing legal service which proactively embraces change and delights the customer. You will be part of a specialist legal team providing high quality advice within many differing aspects of law across the Council. You will be responsible for delivering information, analysis and interpretation to clients to underpin effective decision making, meaningful performance management and meet statutory requirements; achieving good customer service and making a real and demonstrable difference to the delivery of Essex Legal Services’ business and the business of our clients. Excellent rate from £30-£34 ph Requirements of the Lawyer A qualified solicitor or barrister, and a member of the appropriate professional regulatory body. With significant commercial awareness to contribute to the development of new external streams of business and the ability to build excellent working relationships.
