Role: Head Housekeeper/Domestic Supervisor Location: Southampton Salary: £20 - £22,000 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week to be worked on a rota basis including weekends and bank holidays REED are recruiting for a Head Housekeeper/Domestic Supervisor in Southampton to join a passionate charity who support those who are most vulnerable. You will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day management. Role: Liaise with patients, carers and clinical staff to provide and maintain a clean and pleasant environment Providing supervisory support, training and advice to the Housekeeping team Develop and maintain weekly rotas to cover all areas Experience Housekeeping experience completed within a healthcare setting Experience of working in an environment that requires a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene Understanding of basic Health & Safety Experience of working in a care environment with vulnerable adults Ability to deal with emotionally sensitive situations in a sensitive manner and have the ability to remain calm and supportive to all around you This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
