Overview
This Year 6 Intervention Teacher role is a rare opportunity to join a vibrant and well-run Primary school in Central London, starting ASAP. This rapidly improving school are looking for an experienced Year 6 Intervention Teacher to run SATS Intervention Groups for the Year 6 subjects of Maths and English. With a drive to improve student’s SATS results, you will be confident and able to work autonomously, running small group Interventions in preparation for the school SATS exams in the Summer Term. You will be experienced teaching in UK schools with specific KS2 curriculum knowledge You will have excellent behaviour management and an understanding and commitment to KS2 education This is the ideal position for someone with specific Year 6 SATS experience You will ideally be able to hit the ground running and start taking groups of your own from day 1 Working with some very bright and thriving students, this is an exciting role where you will have the freedom to lead and develop this role throughout the school team. You will also be supported by a highly qualified and experienced Year 6 Teacher, making this is a very impressive and interesting position for the right person THE SCHOOL: The Ofsted rated ‘GOOD’ school is in a fantastic location and accessible by various overground trains and underground tube lines including Paddington, Royal Oak and Warwick Avenue. In this Year 6 Intervention Teacher role you will have the opportunity to be working with an extremely supportive Headteacher who is aiming at developing this growing school, to further support not only the school but also their surrounding partners in the community.
