Overview

Principal civil engineer role working for a national engineering consultancy, based in Central London. Your new company The company are a national multi-disciplinary consultancy and are experts in Civil Engineering, which includes feasibility studies, master planning, infrastructure design, and transportation and highways working across a vast number of sectors including residential, logistics and retail. They offer clients a range of engineering skills civil which cover project life cycle from initial concept through to completion of the project, servicing on flood risk assessments (support through the planning process, zero to landfill, BIM capabilities and compliance) structural and transportation highways. Your new role You will be joining as a Principal Civil Engineer, tasked with designing detailed drainage schemes for infrastructure projects, within the residential, commercial and retail sectors. You will have plenty of stakeholder and client interactions, and will be sharing your experience with junior members of the team. You will be managing a rapidly growing team, and tasked with aiding their development within the industry. What you'll need to succeed You will be a chartered engineer with extensive experience of managing the whole design process also leading an effective civil engineering team. You will have extensive experience of risk management being able to identify optimum solutions. You will have experience liaising professionally with external clients, agencies and other design consultants, with sound experience managing project teams and promoting a positive effective service. Strong proficiency with MicroDrainage, WinDes and Civil3D is also expected.
