Overview

Job Title: IT Service Desk Manager Salary: 35k Location: Truro Acorn is searching for an experienced IT service desk manager to manage the service desk team at a leading law firm based in Truro. As Service Desk Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that the service desk runs smoothly and adheres to required agreements. The service desk is run in line with ITIL best practice, as manager you will be expected to review and monitor team performance updating practice where required. Responsibilities Include: · Developing, implementing, reviewing and monitoring all OLAs, SLAs and XLAs as applicable to Operations' Service. · Developing, implementing, reviewing and monitoring ITIL based services. · Providing leadership and management of the Service Desk team ensuring that there is a clearly defined, and understood, path for development and advancement whilst ensuring new technologies are adopted. Essential Experience Required: · ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation. · In depth experience in technical support, varying hardware and software platforms. · Previous experience in a team lead or management role in an ITIL based Service Desk Environment.
