Medical Science Liaison Manager Job Description Location: Hemel Hempstead Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm; 1 hour for lunch. Total weekly hours : 37.5 hours Salary: Dependent on experience Start date: as soon as possible About us: We are a highly successful multi-million-pound turnover specialist pharmaceutical company currently undergoing rapid expansion. The product helps thousands of couples realise their dreams of starting a family. Our history of working with medical professionals and key opinion leaders allows us to constantly develop new ways of thinking and assisting couples going through the experience of Assisted Reproductive Technology. In recent years we have: Successfully invested in a $20,000,000 clinical research trial to gain additional indications to help millions of patients. The clinical paper is to be published shortly. Experienced year on year growth, we has huge expansion plans which include the launch of the product in 27 new markets in the next 6 months. Currently collaborating with top 10 pharmaceutical companies We are a fun, young, dynamic company with a small but growing team. As part of our growth plan, we are now looking to expand our team with a Medical Science Liaison Manager. This is an exciting opportunity, where the right candidate will be working alongside the senior management team on a daily basis, in a supportive environment where you can make a real impact on the company. About the role: Establish yourself as the expert of the product and the growing fertility market. Develop expertise knowledge of the product, treatment trends, clinical trials & literature and scientific activities within the fertility market and monitor and maintain this knowledge. Act as the ambassador for the company and point of contact for scientific discussions with external stakeholders and healthcare professionals to be able to answer any scientific questions they may have. Representing the company at national and international meetings, congresses and symposia. Develop an up to date knowledge of the KOLs, competitor activities, hospitals/clinics and clinical trials. Preparing and delivering medical and scientific presentations. Understanding and influencing a wide range of stakeholders: proactively collaborating and networking with external partners. Provide scientific updates to the team and at cross functional meetings. Present approved scientific data to healthcare providers in both group and one-to-one settings. Identify, develop and maintain long-term collaborative relationships with specified Key Opinion Leaders. Serve as a primary liaison for clinical and scientific information exchange with KOLs and healthcare providers.
