Overview
Due to an internal promotion and exciting growth plans we are recruiting a Site Accountant to joing our finace team in Sheffield. As this is one of our manufacturing sites and due to the nature of this role we are looking for someone with a background in manufacturing who has experience dealing with non finance heads on a plant/ site. You will be required to spend a lot fo time out on the factory floor and liaising with the operations team, so experience of this will be an advantage. Key Responsibilities Production of monthly management accounts for a £50M turnover company Variance reporting against budget and prior periods Production and analysis of key performance indicators Balance sheet control and reconciliations Overhead control Labour analysis Weekly and monthly forecasting of the P&L Budgeting Stock costing and analysis Analysing capital projects Experience and Skills Qualified accountant, preferably CIMA, however we will also consider qualified by experience Manufacturing company experience Implementing and administering financial controls Knowledge of SOX would be ideal but not essential Ability to work closely with the senior management team on site A desire to drive the results, not just report them Self-reliance – to lead the function and drive cost minimalization / revenue maximisation Employees are an important element of the further development of JELD-WEN.
