Commercial Insurance Account Handler A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Account Handler or Account Technician to join a leading Commercial Insurance Broker based in Henley-on-Thames. You will have the chance to: - Progress your career as the firm continues to grow - Work for a company with an employee focused culture - Gain experience of working on high quality Commercial Insurance risks The Role As an Account Handler, you will be the first point of contact for enquires from clients, underwriters and additional internal and external sources. You will be developing and maintaining positive and professional relationships with clients and insurers at all levels. Ensuring the smooth running of assigned portfolio and maintaining accurate client records is a large part of the Account Handler role. As well independently responding to clients and insurers in a pro-active manner, while keeping consultants informed. Handling any necessary administration tasks while compiling client information and fact finds, liaising with insurers on quotations, inviting and confirming renewals, dealing with mid-term adjustments, helping with claims issues and the collection of premiums. Requirements This role would suit an Account Handler or Account Technician who has at least 3 years’ commercial experience working in a similar position for another insurance broker. You will ideally: - Possess practical working experience of the commercial insurance process - Have excellent communication skills to liaise with various parties - Be well organised and prioritise tasks in order of importance - Be a strong team player and assist with colleagues when required - Have a working knowledge of FCA regulations and other legal requirements - Possess proficient IT skills across Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word & Excel Package You will benefit from the following: - Competitive salary depending on experience - Competitive benefits package - Initiatives supporting your well-being - A range of discounts and benefits - Hours 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (37 hours per week) Apply To find out more about this fantastic opportunity to join a market leading firm, please contact us or apply now.
