Overview
Now is an exciting time to work for a fast-growing company based in Manchester as a SQL Developer / DBA. The company is looking for someone who has strong development skills in Microsoft SQL Server and has lots of experience working with large complex relational databases. Essential Skills Strong Microsoft SQL Server developer skills with lots of experience working with large complex relational databases. Writing efficient store procedures, functions, views etc. Strong database design skills, thorough understanding of normalisation practices Optimisation experience Good Database Administration skills Experience in applying security and data encryption techniques Configuration and use of SSIS, SSRS and optionally SSAS Must like writing SQL scripts, understanding and analysing data for both transactional and reporting solutions Desirable Skills Some Power BI or Tableau experience ideal Some clustering / HA / Log shipping experience an advantage Some cloud deployment experience, Azure /AWS The client is looking to fill this opportunity immediately, so please apply ASAP or get in touch on to discuss in further detail.
