Overview
Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting on behalf of a charity for a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker in Stoke on Trent. The role is available on a temporary basis with an immediate start required. The role To work as a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker in Stoke on Trent, you will be working in a specialist post working with young people who have are experiencing substance misuse issues. You would be working with clients providing counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy, advocacy and education. Responsibilities One to one and group work with young people who are experiencing substance misuse issues Attendance of multiagency meetings Harm minimisation and psychosocial intervention Liaising with outside agencies Candidate The successful candidate for the role of Substance Misuse Recovery Worker in Stoke on Trent should have: Experience working in a previous role within the substance misuse field working particularly with young people A passion for helping people into recovery A DBS check issued within the last 12 months or on the update service A driving license and access to a vehicle would be desirable This role as a Substance Misuse Recovery Worker in Stoke on Trent gives the opportunity to gain employment within a reputable organisation within the market.
